The Journal Management System (JMS) is a web-based manuscript submission and tracking system developed by Sami Publishing Company (SPC) for efficient, fast and cost effective processing of submitted manuscripts. JMS has been designed with the objective to ensure step-by-step online processing and tracking of manuscripts for authors, editors, and the publisher; from submission to acceptance and final reproduction.


 


Each manuscript submission will be followed by a confirmation email to the corresponding author. The average time between submission and the final decision is five weeks and the average time between acceptance and publication is one weeks.


 


Most journals generally convey the editorial decision on the submission within two to three months from the initiation of the peer-review process. The time duration of the peer-review process varies due to factors such as availability and promptness of the reviewers approached to carry out reviewing the submission. For the duration of the review process, the submission appears in the “In Review” section of the Journal Management System (JMS).


 


For the majority of SPC's journals, publishing an article is free of charge. If a journal requires page charges, you will find them on the journal's Instructions for Authors.

The reviewers will receive a notification email requesting for peer-reviewing the assigned manuscript. Interested reviewers will submit their comments online. Alternatively, they may decline the activity online.

Articles submitted to Prog. Chem.  Biochem. Res.   are usually sent out to peer reviewers, although submissions that are out of scope for the journal or are of an unacceptably low standard may be rejected without review. Potentially suitable manuscripts will generally be reviewed by at least two experts in the field with the aim of reaching a first decision as soon as possible.

Prog. Chem.  Biochem. Res.  is available in printed form. One can submit the subscription form to the Prog. Chem.  Biochem. Res.   editorial office and get the printed form of Prog. Chem.  Biochem. Res. Also one can submit their request through online at http://www.PCBR recommends the conference organizers to accept the final papers according to the PCBR paper template. The set of papers should be submitted to PCBR in DOC/DOCX format..com/journal/subscription.form, and get the same.


 


 

 


Open access publications are available freely available and permanently in the website of Prog. Chem.  Biochem. Res., in which one can download the articles at any time and by anyone with an internet connection. If author/editor is properly acknowledge then one can do unrestricted use, distribution and reproduction in any medium is permitted. In order to increase the visibility of authors work, open access has provided tremendous support to both authors and science institutions. Authors can retain copyright and do rapid publication.


 


Authors (both corresponding and co-authors) have the full right to disseminate the PDF offprint of their journal article(s) to their research colleagues and research organizations.


 


Authors will receive a reminder mail after a few days. The editorial office will process authors article as soon as the editorial office have received the necessary information from authors, and proofs will be sent to authors once the My Publication process has been completed.


 


Page proofs will reach to authors approximately 2 weeks after finishing the Publication process. Authors’ paper will then be released into the system and the paper will be typeset. Authors will receive PDF proofs of their paper shortly thereafter. At that time authors will have the opportunity to submit their corrections to the typesetter.


 


Authors can do make changes during the proof process, which starts after authors have completed the My Publication process.


 


The problem is caused by cookies that are blocked on your system. In case of using Internet Explorer, then go to “Tools” on the top bar and then click on “Internet Options.” Under “Privacy” adjust the cookie settings to allow cookies. In case of using Firefox, then go to “Extras” on the top bar and then choose “Settings > Data Security > Accept cookies”. Now, the problem should then be solved.


 


Only the corresponding author receives an e-mail notification to complete the online procedure and receiving communication. At any cause, co-author(s) will not do the online completion procedure and will not receive any notification about their submitted manuscript. But, the corresponding author is transferring the copyright on behalf of the others and then they are eligible for doing all activities as that of corresponding author.


 


After having clicked the link provided in the email, authors can change all of their account details. After having changed their address, use the link from the email again to go back to the “My Publication” pages.


 


At the proof stage, one can do any changes that would like to have made. The typesetter carries out corrections before an article is published online. Please note that changes are no longer possible after publication.


 


No. However, it is a duty of reviewer to explain his / her situations, why review was not completed to editorial office through mail.


 


Reviewers should not consider manuscripts in which they have conflicts of interest resulting from competitive, collaborative, or other relationships or connections with any of the authors, companies, or institutions connected to the papers. In such a case a reviewer should contact the editor and excuse himself / herself from the review process for that particular paper.


 


 


Prog. Chem.  Biochem. Res. encourages authors to double verify the grammatical corrections before being submitted to the editorial office. Before assigning the submitted manuscript by the authors to the reviewers, editorial office ensures that manuscript with very poor English is not sent to reviewers. However, a paper with poor English and with the errors, the paper should be returned to the editor with the request that the authors have the material edited for content before re-submitting it for peer review.


 


 

 


Authors are required to adhere to the journal’s Guide for Authors. If the paper is good, the editor may choose to overlook the formatting issues, else, editor may ask the authors to restructure the manuscript before publication.


 


Any selected referee who feels unqualified to review the research reported in a manuscript should notify the editor and excuse himself / herself from the review process. This should be done as soon as possible by return email.


 


Deadlines for reviews vary per journal. The editors will provide information on deadline expectations with the review request. Editors appreciate being informed that reviewers have received their request within a day or two and are able to complete the review. If reviewer feels the review will take longer time to complete than normal, please contact the editor to discuss the matter. The editor may ask reviewer to recommend an alternate reviewer, or may be willing to wait a little longer. As a general guideline, reviewer should decline to review the paper. It is important that reviewer keep the editor informed if the review is taking longer than expected.

Papers sent to reviewer for reviewing are confidential; however, requesting the opinion of a single colleague may be appropriate in some circumstances. Consult the editor about this issues before being proceeded.


 


This is a vital part of the referee’s remit; reviewer should contact the editor without delay to discuss any concerns.


 


Any claim that an observation, derivation or argument has been previously published should be accompanied by a relevant citation. A reviewer should call the editor's attention to any substantial similarity or overlap between the manuscript under consideration and any other published paper of which they have personal knowledge.


 


No. In some cases, if reviewers have called for substantial changes or additions, the editor may send a revised copy of the paper for reviewer to check, to ensure that the changes made meet reviewer’s expectations. In some cases reviewer may be asked to also look at a third submission of a paper.

The authors will only see the comments, if reviewers have made that are specific to the author, else the assigning editor will submit the comments given by the reviewer to authors through online editorial system.


 


The final decision of whether to accept or reject a particular manuscript lies with the Editor-in-chief or assigning Editor. The editor will weigh both views and may call for a third opinion or ask the author for a revised paper before making a decision.


 


No. If the concerned reviewer really interest on the particular manuscript, then the reviewer may request the editor to get the other reviewers’ comments.

No. Any manuscripts received for review must be treated as confidential documents. Unpublished materials disclosed in a submitted manuscript must not be used in a reviewer’s own research without the express written consent of the author. Privileged information or ideas obtained through peer review must be kept confidential and not used for personal advantage.

PCBR uses its own style of note formatting. Cited references and explanatory notes should be presented in one section of consecutively numbered endnotes. Additional information on our note style, along with examples, is available on our "Guide for Authors" section.


 


Submissions are acknowledged promptly by e-mail. All manuscripts submitted to the PCBR are subject to peer-review process. Authors can expect to wait about one or two months from the date of submission until receiving the journal’s decision. For manuscripts that are selected for revision, the length of time between the revision request and publication will vary widely (from two weeks to two months) depending on various factors, including the extent of revision required, the need for additional review and revision.


 


Although authors will receive proofs from editorial office before the manuscript is published, the purpose of these proofs is to pick up inaccuracies or typographical errors. Authors will not be able to make editorial changes (e.g. changes in wording, adding references, etc.) at this stage. It is essential for the authors to ensure that the version authors submit for publication in GJESM is the final version.


 


PCBR is an open access journal. Anyone can get access to its articles from anywhere in the world without any charge.


 


Each submission undergoes detailed review by appointed domain experts and peer-reviews by domain peers. Entire process takes 14-24 days or more, to complete the review process.


 


Depending on the personal spam filter settings it is possible that the notification email may be directed to concerned spam folder rather than inbox. If this is not the case, PCBR requested the concern to escalate the issue to http://www.pcbiochemres.com PCBR shall be replied on the status within 24 hours.


 


Yes. Copyright forms shall be submitted by corresponding author at the time of submission of manuscript.


 


No. Publication of conference proceedings is not a free-of-cost. PCBR service to the scientific community furthering the journal's mission to preserve and disseminate scientific knowledge. International conferences that meet scientific standards are supported and encouraged by the journal, and discounts are provided for them.


 


 


The conference organizers should email a request to samipubco@gmail.com. The conference shall be evaluated by PCBR advisory panels. Once approval is granted by the panel, the conference organizers shall be asked to submit the conference proceedings with PCBR. The proceedings shall be published and available in both print and online versions. All refereeing steps must be followed for conference papers, and authors must be responsive to modify and revise.


 


 

 


PCBR typesetting teams shall require a minimum of 30 days (from the date of panel results against the submitted the proceedings' papers) to complete the publication process in both print and online formats.


 


PCBR recommends the conference organizers to accept the final papers according to the PCBR paper template. The set of papers should be submitted to PCBR in DOC/DOCX format.
